Seats
Most 3 wheel double buggies begin life as single pushchairs, although some models can be converted to accommodate the seat of a second person or carrycot with adapters (these are more commonly found in tandem buggies). You'll also see that some models allow you to include a ride-onboard for older children who would like to walk but still need a little help.
For a light-weight alternative that's ideal for urban streets, look into the Joie Evalite Duo. It's easy to move, and it has a large basket that is full of storage. It can accommodate twins from at birth and will accept two car seats or a carrycot with seat. However, the seats need to face forwards and there's no space to store a bag of groceries underneath, so you'll need a sidepack to do this.
If you're looking to take off-road trips, the Mountain Buggy Duet is a excellent choice. It's a side-by- side model with the slimmest footprint of any double buggy that is available. It's easier to maneuver through narrow doors, on public transport and to climb over and up kerbs. It also has a handbrake that is attached to the adjustable handlebar for extra security and safety.
Another option that is light weight is the UPPAbaby Vista 2 Double it can be used for twins or a baby and toddler. The seats feature multi-position reclining and UPF 50+ sunshades while the canopy can be adjusted to keep the sun out of your child's eyes. The Vista 2 can even be transformed into a triple using the addition of UPPAbaby's "PiggyBack board for older and mobile children.
The iCandy Orange double buggies are among the most well-known on the market. This is due to their exceptional comfort. It's an all-terrain pushchair with a soft suspension that makes easy work of bumpy surfaces. It comes with 30 different seating configurations as well as a built-in table for older children who prefer walking, and a "cinema' mode which raises the back seats to provide better visibility.
The phil&teds dots are brilliant single buggys that can be easily adapted to accommodate two (or three!) different configurations. Suspension
The quality of the suspension in a triple buggy is essential to how it is easy for you and your baby/s to push. A smooth ride is crucial since babies can feel every bump on the road, especially when it's on rough terrain like grass or paths that aren't paved. Certain models also have front wheels that lock to assist in maneuvering and navigating obstacles such as curbs.
Some models have air-filled tyres that are great for all-terrain rides, but they are prone to punctures. Make sure you keep an extra set of tyres inside the trunk. Certain models come with gel-filled or foam-filled tyres that are designed to cushion bumps. 3 wheeled pushchair are less likely to puncture, however they could be uncomfortable for your child should you decide to jog.

Folding
A three-wheel double buggy could be folded up neatly to be stored. Many people are impressed by the capacity of storage offered by a triple-wheeled buggy. Certain models, like the Roma Atlas offer a generously-sized basket and 2 handy zip pockets on the hood that keep your keys and phone within easy reach. It is also designed to be able to handle a little rough terrain which makes it a great option for family walks or all-terrain strolls.

It's the most compact side-by-side double on the market and it comes with some amazing tech including games-changing LED lights on each side of the frame to increase safety in dim lighting conditions.
